Well, it's finally here! The new website has arrived and it looks glorious! I've just pulled off all the wrapping paper and have given it a test drive, and I'm happy to say that I'm quite pleased with how it turned out! As every designer knows, designing for yourself is quite a chore, and I had been dreading it and pushing it off for a long, long time. And now that it's completed, I feel good!

I had mulled around a number of ideas about my new website for a long time. I labored over the message I wanted to give over. I experimented with different styles. And mostly, I fought with myself about the architecture I would use (I used Drupal). I sketched and tossed dozens of ideas.

And now that it's finally done, I can sit back and breathe a deep sigh of relief. It's over. For now. Until I decide I need to fix it again.

We designers are never satisfied for long.
